Frequently Asked Questions
How do your auctions work?
We hold 2 online auctions each week. All items come into our facilities where we unpack & sort through them, lot them up and then we catalog each lot with photos & a description of the item(s). Every Friday we post the auctions for the following week. Customers are able to bid for the next 5-6 days and view items in the catalog or in person at our facilities. Auctions are set with a set closing date that at the given time, will turn into real-time bidding. Once the auction has ended, customers are able to pick their items up or choose to ship.
What do I need to do in order to sell items through your auction house?
We like to know a little bit about the items you are interested in consigning, how much you have to disperse of and in some cases, we may request a few sample photos. Once we have some information, we can talk about pick up options or scheduling you with a bring in date for your items.
When do I receive my money if I sell my items through you?
You will receive your funds 30 days from the date your items are sold.
What are your commission rates?
Commission rates vary and can fluctuate for certain collections, etc. Let’s talk about the items you wish to consign, and we can let you know what your commission rates will be.
My parents passed away and left me with their estate. I am so overwhelmed. Can you help me?
We are a full-service auction company that offers a wide range of services that are customized to best fit your needs. If you are now the person in charge of a large estate that needs dispersed of we can certainly help you get the process started and see you through to the end if needed.
If I have items to sell and can’t bring them to you, can you come pick them up for me?
We do offer pick up services for auction consignments if it would be cost effective for a customer. We can discuss this once we have an idea of what you wish to sell.
I am downsizing and have items I don’t want to take with me. What do I do?
