Whether you would like to consign or bid with us, she will provide you with the necessary information to put you in touch with the proper Green Valley associate. In 2005 Katie began working part-time for Green Valley Auctions as the Gallery 3 clerk; and in August 2006 she was hired full-time as part of the front office staff. As Greg Evans' assistant, Katie is responsible for coordinating consignment bring-ins and pick-ups for the biweekly auctions, as well as managing Greg's busy schedule of walk-through consultations and other appointments. Some of Katie's other duties incldude answering the telephone, responding to e-mails, registering bidders, notifying successful absentee bidders, cashiering, and assisting with post-auction consignor settlement. Born in New Jersey, Katie moved to Sangersville, VA when she was five and a half years old. She currently resides in Harrisonburg with her father and her two sons - Ben, born in 2000 and Aiden, born in 2004. A "stay-at-home" mom from 2000 until 2006, Katie was itching to get out into the work force - although she admits that she seriously misses her ABC Soap Operas and her boys (but not necessarily in that order).
