Chris helps with pick-ups and deliveries and auction set-up/clean-up. During auctions, Chris helps hold up items for the crowd and also handles customers' absentee bids. Although his family is originally from Broadway, VA, Chris was born in Washington, DC and raised in Falls Church, VA. Chris graduated from George Mason University in 1976 with a B. S. in Business Administration. In June 2004, Chris retired as Department Manager for Giant Food after being with the company since 1970. Chris now lives in Harrisonburg with his wife Tess and their three daughters Cassy, Nicky and Brittany. In Northern VA, Chris and his family enjoyed their 100-gallon fishpond and plans are currently in the works to build another, even larger one to fill with Koi. Hobbies include fishing and collecting antiques. Chris' other interests include automobiles and classic muscle cars with a special fascination for older, classic Corvettes.
