Lot 394 - ASHBURTON CHAMPAGNES, LOT OF FIVE, colorless, consisting of three flared, one Slim, and one unidentified with scallops between upper punties. Third quarter 19th century. 4 5/8" to 4 7/8" h, 2 1/2" to 2 3/4" dia rim. Undamaged, one with minor manufacturing flaw to foot. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 395 - ASHBURTON DECANTERS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, consisting of a quart example with applied neck ring and appropriate patterned stopper, which is slightly ill-fitting, and a one-third quart example with applied bar lip, each with polished pontil mark. Third quarter 19th century. 13 3/4" h overall and 8 3/4" h. Larger example undamaged except for some minute nicks to upper edge of stopper and very light interior base residue, smaller one with a 1/4" dia flake to the pattern, resulting from a pot stone. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Third quarter 19th century. 2 7/8" to 3 3/8" h, 2 3/4" to 3 3/8" dia rim. Larger water undamaged, smaller water and whiskey each with wear to base points, whiskey also with flake to one point. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 400 - ASHBURTON, LOT OF THIRTEEN ARTICLES, colorless, consisting of a double egg cup, sugar bowl and 11 dishes in various sizes. Third quarter 19th century. Egg cup 4" h, 2" dia larger rim, 1 3/4" smaller rim, dishes 3 3/4" to 6 3/8" dia overall. Egg cup with significant mold roughness to rim of smaller cup, eight dishes with flaking/mold roughness, remaining items undamaged. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 401 - BALLOON CREAMER AND SUGAR, colorless, creamer with molded handle, sugar with short octagonal stem, lacking cover, each with circular foot and rough pontil mark. Third quarter 19th century. 4 1/2" h overall and 5 3/8" h. Creamer undamaged with a manufacturing flaw to the handle, sugar with substantial flaking to rim. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 402 - BELLFLOWER - DV CREAMER, colorless, both vines flow right, applied handle, foot with 36 rays to within 3/8" of edge. Third quarter 19th century. 7" h overall. Undamaged except for a minute flake to edge of foot. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 403 - BULL'S EYE KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless font, square fiery opalescent base, brass connector, brass fine line collar. Third quarter 19th century. 9 7/8" h, 4" sq base. Undamaged, two small pry marks to top of connector, font slightly tilted. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 404 - BULL'S EYE AND FLEUR-DE-LYS CELERY VASE, colorless, lightly gauffered rim, hexagonal standard and circular base, wafer construction. Lot 413 - COLONIAL DRINKING VESSELS, LOT OF THREE, colorless, consisting of Knob-Stem and Way goblets, and a footed tumbler. Third quarter 19th century. 3 1/2" to 6 1/4" h. The first example is undamaged except for a tiny bruise to the bottom of the stem, the other with mold roughness to foot and uneven base, the tumbler with a pattern nick and low resonance. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 414 - COMET LARGE GOBLET, colorless, polished pontil mark. Third quarter 19th century. 6 3/8" h. Undamaged except for light scratching to interior, and two minute nicks to stem. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 416 - CUT WAFFLE AND THUMBPRINT CHAMPAGNE, colorless, rayed under base. Second half 19th century. 5" h, 2 3/4" dia rim. Undamaged with a 1/4" annealing refraction embedded in upper stem. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 417 - DIAMOND POINT CREAMER AND COVERED SUGAR BOWL, colorless, creamer with applied handle, sugar with hexagonal finial and stepped seat, each with stepping below bowl, short hexagonal stem and circular rayed base. Third quarter 19th century. Creamer 6 3/4" h overall, sugar 8" h overall. Excellent overall condition, creamer with three pattern flakes and the sugar having only a single pattern nick. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 419 - DIAMOND THUMBPRINT QUART DECANTER, colorless, with a matching pattern stopper, which is somewhat ill-fitting, applied neck ring above pattern, and polished pontil mark. Third quarter 19th century. 13" h overall, 10 1/2" to lip, 4 1/4" dia base. Very good overall condition, base with flake and annealing cracks, several pattern nicks, stopper extension with as-made annealing crack and chipping. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 421 - EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS REFERENCE VOLUMES, LOT OF SIX, Millard's "Goblets" 7th edition and "Goblets II" 2nd edition, hard covers, along with Metz's "Studies in Early American Pattern Glass", booklets no. 1 - 4, 1960 and 1961, soft covers. Very good condition overall, spotting to hard covers, booklet no. 1 cover detached, light browning at edges, two with cover ring. Estimate: $30 - $50.

Lot 422 - EARLY THUMBPRINT OPEN COMPOTE, colorless, rim with 32 even scallops, double step hollow stem with 12 flutes, circular foot with 24 scallops, single band of 24 thumbprints under foot, wafer construction. Probably Bakewell, Pears & Co. Third quarter 19th century. 9 3/4" h, 11 1/8" dia rim, 6 7/8" dia foot. Undamaged except for several manufacturing chips to snap ring under base, very light wear to base of bowl. Estimate: $200 - $300.

Lot 423 - EARLY THUMBPRINT NAPPIE ON STAND, colorless, shallow bowl with 32 even scallops, double-step hollow stem with 12 flutes, circular foot with 24 scallops, single band of 24 thumbprints under foot, wafer construction. Probably Bakewell, Pears & Co. Third quarter 19th century. 4 1/2" h, 6 1/8" dia rim, 3 7/8" dia foot. Undamaged except for a shallow chip under rim and under foot, and a minor flake to top of foot. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 424 - EARLY THUMBPRINT QUART DECANTER, colorless, with bar lip, four rows of thumbprints, slight shouder indention, polished table ring amd partially polished pontil mark. Third quarter 19th century. 11" h, 4" dia base. Undamaged, with a shallow spall off the pontil. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 425 - EARLY THUMBPRINT PINT DECANTER, colorless, bulbous form with four rows of thumbprints above 18 ribs, bladed neck ring, heavy foot with polished table ring, period hollow stopper, which is probably not original. Third quarter 19th century. 10 7/8" h overall, 8 5/8" to lip, 2 3/4" dia base. Undamaged except for a minute pattern nick. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 434 - HONEYCOMB - ALL OVER CREAM JUG, colorless non-flint glass, molded handle, engraved below handle "Pat 1865", partially polished pontil mark. 5 1/2" h, 2 7/8" dia rim, 2 7/8" dia base. Undamaged. Estimate: $30 - $50.

Note: Although this is a fairly common water pitcher, it is not often encountered in the form of a cream jug.
Lot 435 - HORIZONTAL OVAL FRAMES WITH CAMEO SULPHIDE GOBLET, colorless lead glass with a silver nitrate/amber stained medallion, encased sulphide bust of a winged female, hexagonal stem and foot, polished base with concave center. An identical goblet featuring a Minerva-like sulphide bust is in the collection of the Corning Museum of Glass, accession #84.3.112. European. 1850-1870. 6 1/4" h. Undamaged except for a minute flake to medallion and one oval. Estimate: $300 - $500.
Lot 436 - HORIZONTAL OVAL FRAMES GOBLET, vaseline, hexagonal stem and foot, polished molded table ring, low resonance. European. Third quarter 19th century. 6" h, 3 1/4" dia rim. Undamaged with normal annealing lines at the top of two frames. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 439 - LOOP / LEAF, LOT OF TWO ARTICLES, colorless, consisting of a seven-loop bowl on a seven loop base, and a compote with a nine-loop bowl on a thin hexagonal stem and nine-loop foot, both with wafer construction. New England and Pittsburgh. Third quarter 19th century. 5" h, 8" dia and 7 1/2" h, 8 1/2" dia. First with a flake and narrow chip to rim between scallops and normal annealing lines in base, second with two shallow chips under the base. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 440 - LOOP / LEAF, LOT OF THREE ARTICLES, colorless, consisting of two open compotes, one with 19-loop bowl, hexagonal knop stem and seven-petal base, the other with flared 12-loop bowl, six-petal base, both with wafer construction, and covered sugar bowl. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Third quarter 19th century. 6 1/4" to 6 3/4" h overall. Normal flaking/roughness to all rims and bases, larger compote with a bruise to one loop, smaller example with an open bubble under the base; sugar bowl finial with roughness. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 441 - LYON'S CRYSTAL / MADISON, LOT OF TWO ARTICLES, colorless, consisting of a covered sugar bowl with hexagonal finial, and a spooner, each with short hexagonal stem and circular foot. Jas. B. Lyon & Co., Pittsburgh. Third quarter 19th century. 7 1/4" h overall, 4 1/2" dia and 5 1/8" h, 3 1/2" dia. Much above average condition, sugar having roughness to the finial and a single pattern flake to both the lid and bowl, spooner with several minute nicks and less than normal interior wear. Estimate: $75 - $125.

McKee & Brother and M'Kee & Brothers. Third quarter 19th century. 9 1/2" h, 10" dia rim. Undamaged except for a minute nick to edge of base. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 444 - MORNING GLORY GOBLET, colorless, produced in both lead and soda-lime glass, this example is soda lime with no resonance. It does display an unusual light overall surface crizzeling in strong reflected light but not in normal light. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1865-1880. 6" h. Undamaged, slightly tilted, irregularities/tool marks to edge of foot as made. Estimate: $200 - $300.

Lot 458 - UNIDENTIFIED EUROPEAN GOBLET, colorless with rose staining and gilt decoration, six oval framed panels above ribs surround the bowl, complex knop stem, hexagonal rayed and polished foot, high lead content. Second half 19th century. 6" h. Undamaged. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 459 - UNIDENTIFIED PANELED OVERLAPPING LOOPS COMPOTE, colorless, 12 panels alternating with two and three loops, hexagonal baluster stem continuing to a circular foot, wafer construction. Third quarter 19th century. 9 3/8" h, 10 1/2" dia rim, 6" dia base. Very good overall condition, two flakes and a small area of roughness to pattern, slightly tilted. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Remaining two with less than normal interior wear, the first with graphite in stem, the other with a crack under the bowl, a flake and roughness. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 467 - VARIOUS EAPG GOBLETS, LOT OF FOUR, colorless, consisting of a cut Ashburton variant, Krom, Colonial and Comet, first and last each with a polished pontil mark, the other two with rough pontil mark. Lot 468 - VARIOUS CUT EAPG CHAMPAGNES, LOT OF THREE, colorless, consisting of a Honeycomb with cut octagonal stem, a Honeycomb with eight panels under the bowl which extend one third of the way down the stem, and an unidentified Punty and Panel with baluster stem, each with polished pontil. Second half 19th century. 5" h. Undamaged, larger Honeycomb example has a bubble on the stem which was opened during the cutting process. Estimate: $50 - $75.

First with considerable as-made straw and chill marks, and a flake on the knop, second with normal pattern flakes and stem nicks. Estimate: $50 - $75.

First two much above average condition, having only a couple pattern flakes and minor roughness to the finial, Hinoto also with flakes to the cover rim, remaining example with normal chipping to rim of cover, and a foot flake. Excellent overall condition, Mirror with only a finial flake, Four Petal with a flake to the finial and step, remaining example having a flake to the cover rim and several minute pattern nicks to bowl. Lot 472 - VARIOUS EAPG DRINKING VESSELS, LOT OF FIVE, colorless, consisting of two Argus and two Paneled lemonades or handled tumblers, and a Colonial footed whiskey tumbler. One Paneled example is undamaged, one Argus is missing the curl of the handle, the remaining handled tumblers each have a crack in the lower terminal of the handle.
