Lot 111 - SHIELD - VARIANT STAND LAMP, kerosene period, colorless, similar to the Shield finger lamp, with a single row of beads in the top of the shield and lacking the beads between the shields, #1 fine line collar. Second half 19th century. 6 1/4" h, 4 1/8" dia base. Undamaged except for light flaking to base interior. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 112 - SHIELD AND STAR STAND LAMP, kerosene period, colorless font, translucent starch green base, brass connector, #1 fine line collar. Second half 19th century. 8 1/2" h, 3 3/4" sq base. Very good overall condition, having two chips under the font and a very light 5/8" spectral crack and flake to the interior of the base. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 115 - ST. LOUIS STAND LAMP, kerosene period, opaque white font, blue base, brass screw connector, #2 Taplin-Brown collar. U. S. Glass Co. Late 19th/early 20th century. 8 1/4" h, 5" dia base overall. Very good overall condition, having a flake to the top of the stem, a bruise to one base point, and a 3/8" split to the connector. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 116 - STARS AND EYES STAND LAMP, kerosene period, colorless font, translucent starch blue square base with a greenish smoke streak, brass connector, #1 fine line collar. Third quarter 19th century. 9 1/4" h, 4" sq base. Font with abrasions to top, base with normal light wear/roughness and several flakes, connector with poor reattachment. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 133 - UNPATTERNED FONT STAND LAMPS, LOT OF THREE, kerosene period, colorless fonts, two with colorless glass bases, and other with a brass two-piece stem mounted on a marble base, each with #1 fine line collar. Third quarter 19th century. 6 1/4" to 6 1/2" h, 3 3/4" to 4" dia; 7 1/4" h, 3 1/2" sq base. Undamaged except for one glass example with small chips/roughness to interior of base, marble base with normal flakes/roughness and a minor compression at brass stem juncture. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 134 - VARIOUS LAMPS, LOT OF THREE, kerosene period, consisting of a cranberry opalescent Eason font now fitted on an opaque white base with a brass connector, unpatterned ruby stained bell-form font with a brass stem and fitted on a metal base, and a colorless plain font with 20 rayed base. Second half 19th century. 2 1/2" to 8 3/4" h, 4" sq and 3" dia bases. First example lacking original base, ruby stained example with stem damage and denting to collar, and remaining example undamaged. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 135 - VARIOUS FINGER LAMPS, LOT OF THREE, kerosene period, colorless, consisting of a Cross Lens with an applied handle, a Broad Inverted Flute, and an unpatterned font with a 20-ray base, #1 period collars. Second half 19th century. 2 3/4" to 3 1/4" h, 2 3/4" to 4 1/2" dia base. Undamaged except for a nick and minor flake to Broad Inverted Flute, collars with minor imperfections. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 136 - VARIOUS PATTERNS FINGER LAMPS, LOT OF THREE, kerosene period, consisting of an unidentified translucent blue banded example, an unidentified cobalt blue ringed example, and an unidentified cranberry with cut ovals and leaves, each with applied handle and period #1 collar. Second half 19th century. 3 1/4" to 3 3/4" h, 2 3/4" to 3 1/4" dia base. Each with a small font crack at upper terminal. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 137 - VARIOUS PATTERNS FINGER LAMPS, LOT OF FOUR, kerosene period, colorless, consisting of a Shield and Star, a Tapered Rib, an unidentified Lovell criss-cross pattern embossed on base "F H L & Co", and an unpatterned font with foot, each with applied handle, three with #1 Fine Line collars and one with a #1 Taplin-Brown with patent information collar. Third quarter 19th century. 2 3/4" to 3 1/2" h, 3" to 3 3/4" dia bases. Each with a crack to handle or font at a terminal, some of which are hard to detect. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 138 - VARIOUS PATTERNS FINGER LAMPS, LOT OF FIVE, kerosene period, colorless, consisting of a Cup and Saucer with polished pontil mark, a Diamond Sawtooth and a Sheath, Double Rib and Oval, an unidentified footed ten-sided panel, and an unpatterned font, #1 period collars, four with applied handles. Second half 19th century. 2 3/4" to 3 3/4" h, 3 1/4" to 3 3/4" dia overall. First example with a bruise and several minor flakes under base along with a minor rim flake, second example with a pattern bruise, several pattern flakes and light collar denting, remaining examples with handle cracks or minor losses. Estimate: $50 - $75.

European. Late 19th/early 20th century. 4 1/2" h to collar. Undamaged with some light splits to burner. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Fourth quarter 19th century. 2 1/2" and 2 3/4" h to top of collar. First undamaged, second with crack to font around lower handle terminal, splits to collar, dents to burner. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 150 - SKATER'S LANTERNS, LOT OF TWO, kerosene period, colorless and blue globe, each fitted with brass mounts and font, bail handles. Late 19th/early 20th century. 6 3/4" h, 3 1/8" dia bases. Colorless example undamaged and slightly tilted, blue example with a 2" crack to glass, each with some light denting and minor corrosion and each with a minute loss to brass mount. Lot 156 - UNNAMED MINIATURE LAMP, with matching patterned chimney shade, kerosene period, opaque white with brown staining, font embossed "CHICAGO CLOAK CO. 235 STATE ST". Late 19th/early 20th century. 7 1/4" h overall, 2 3/4" dia base. Font undamaged, chimney shade damaged, light normal wear to stain. Estimate: $50 - $75.

Lot 157 - HOBBS' SNOWFLAKE / NO. 341 FOOTED FINGER LAMP, kerosene period, cranberry opalescent, colorless applied handle, colorless foot, #1 Taplin-Brown collar. Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. Late 19th/early 20th century. 4 7/8" h, 4 1/4" dia base. Undamaged with an 1/8" x 1" band of bubbles on the outer surface of the lower font where it adjoins the foot. This is a manufacturing imperfection, not a crack, but does show a slight refraction at either end. Light splits to collar. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Glass elements undamaged, font with numerous interior and exterior surface irregularities, which is often seen on this larger size. Connector with 3/4" horizontal split and an added rubber gasket to form a secure connection. Estimate: $300 - $500.

Appearance is undamaged but the consignor reveals professional restoration to a drilled hole in bottom of font, normal light abrasions and a cut-open bubble at edge of punties, normal wear to marble. Lot 226 - CUT OVERLAY PUNTY PEG LAMP, whale oil/fluid period, white cut to colorless, now affixed to a translucent soft turquoise blue No. 40 base, brass connector, #1 fine line collar, double-tube whale oil burner. Third quarter 19th century. 8 3/4" h to collar, 3 1/4" sq base overall. Numerous abrasions and two open bubbles at edges of punties, base with several light flakes to lower edge and underneath. Estimate: $200 - $300.
Lot 227 - CUT OVERLAY STAND LAMP, kerosene period, white cut to clear foliage with roughed leaves, opaque black base with gilt decoration, brass connector, #1 fine line collar. Third quarter 19th century. 9 1/4" h, 3 3/4" dia base. Drilled for electrification at bottom of font through stem and at side of base, two small chips to wafer, minor flake to lower part of font. Estimate: $50 - $75.
