Skyline Literacy Coalition's
Annual Benefit Auction and Dinner

Skyline Literacy Coalition was founded in 1987 and is a local organization dedicated to providing free education to area adults by offering tutors to help with basic literacy skills including reading, writing, math, English a a second language (ESL) skills, and GED tutoring.

Volunteer tutors are trained to work with learners in one-on-one sessions, setting individualized learning goals. Skyline has over 150 volunteer tutors working with over 250 students throughout the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County area. The Auction and dinner raises money to buy books and other learning materials.

Approximately 95 live auction items and hundreds of silent auction items including work of local artisans, furniture, handmade jewelry, travel packages, gift certificates and many specialty items.
