Lot 1596 - STAFFORDSHIRE THEATRICAL FIGURE, depicting Victorian actor David Garrick as Richard III, well-colored polychrome decoration with applied coleslaw. Third quarter 19th century. 9 3/4" h, 3 1/8" x 7" base. Excellent undamaged condition. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1597 - STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURAL SPILL VASE, depicting a fortune teller with a child, being given money by a young woman, well-colored polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 10 3/8" h, 2 2/3" x 5 1/2" base. Very good condition, having only a tight hairline to the fortune teller's hood, and a firing flaw to the girl's hair. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1598 - STAFFORDSHIRE ANIMAL FIGURE, depicting two spaniels, one sitting on a barrel, well-colored polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 8 1/4" h, 2 1/4" x 6" base. Excellent overall condition, having only a hairline on reverse and under base. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1599 - STAFFORDSHIRE MILITARY FIGURE, depicting a Soldier's Dream, sleeping soldier seated above cannon with elbow resting on a drum, moderate polychrome decoration with some applied coleslaw. Third quarter 19th century. 10" h, 3 1/4" x 6" base. Excellent undamaged condition with some wear to decoration. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1601 - STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURAL CANDLE HOLDERS, PAIR, each depicting a couple with a large tulip above a stream, well-colored polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 7" h, 1 3/4" x 4" base. One in excellent undamaged condition, the other with a flat chip to outside of cup. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1602 - STAFFORDSHIRE ROMANTIC FIGURE, depicting a couple seated on a couch, he is holding a stringed instrument, she has a parrot on her arm, well-colored polychrome decoration. Late 19th/early 20th century. 10 1/4" h, 2 1/2" x 7 1/2" base. Excellent undamaged condition. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1603 - STAFFORDSHIRE HUNTING FIGURE, depicting a hunter on horseback, holding a fox with his dog below, moderate polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 12" h, 3" x 8". Excellent condition, with three small flakes on reverse and a short tight hairline to side of hat. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1604 - STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURAL SPILL VASES, PAIR, each depicting two children with a goat, well-colored polychrome decoration with applied coleslaw. Third quarter 19th century. 7 3/8" h, 2 3/8" x 4" base. One example with professional restoration to rim of vase, the other with some losses to coleslaw and a firing separation to reverse of base. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1605 - ETRUSCAN MAJOLICA CAKE PLATE, Geranium pattern, impressed circular and crescent marks. Griffen, Smith & Hill. Fourth quarter 19th century. 1 1/2" h, 10" dia. Excellent overall condition, having only a single flake and a glaze rub to the rim. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1606 - ETRUSCAN MAJOLICA PLATES, LOT OF THREE, consisting of Shell and Seaweed, Cauliflower, and Leaf on Basket patterns, each with impressed circular mark. Griffen, Smith & Hill. Fourth quarter 19th century. 7 5/8" to 8 1/4" dia. Excellent overall condition, Shell and Seaweed with normal minor flakes to rim, remaining two undamaged. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1607 - WEDGWOOD MAJOLICA PLATES, LOT OF FIVE, single color, various Leaf patterns, each impressed "WEDGWOOD" only, with various other combinations of letters. Second half 19th century. 7 7/8" and 8 3/4" dia. Three examples in excellent condition with just a hint of glaze loss, remaining two with normal loss to glaze at rim, one of which also has a hairline off the rim. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1608 - MAJOLICA BREAD TRAYS, LOT OF TWO, consisting of an Etruscan Oak Leaf example, impressed circular mark on reverse with a "K", and a second unmarked example with acorns. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2 1/4" h overall, 9" x 11 3/4" overall and 1 3/4" h, 9 1/8" x 12 1/4". Very good overall condition, Etruscan example with less than normal rim flakes, the other with a tight hairline off the rim. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1609 - MAJOLICA TEAPOT, Floral pattern, one cup capacity, unmarked except for an underglaze painted "4". Late 19th/early 20th century. 4 3/4" h overall, 3 3/4" dia overall. Excellent overall condition with less than normal rim flakes and interior crazing. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1610 - MAJOLICA COMPOTE, unidentified Sunflower Basket pattern, unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2 1/2" h, 9 1/2" dia. Excellent condition with a chip under the rim, tight hairline on base and light surface wear. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 1612 - MAJOLICA WASTE BOWL, Blackberry pattern, unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2 7/8" h, 5 1/2" dia. Excellent overall condition, having only as small crescent-shaped hairline to outer rim. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1613 - MAJOLICA PITCHER, Tree Trunk and Floral pattern, unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 8 1/2" h, 4" x 6" overall. Very good overall condition with a hairline off the rim and normal minor flaking. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1614 - MAJOLICA PLATES, LOT OF SIX, various patterns including three with fans and one with a reticulated rim, together with two others, four examples with various marks, others unmarked. Lot 1616 - MAJOLICA PLATES, LOT OF SEVEN, single color, consisting of a set of four Begonia Leaf on Basket, two Pond Lily examples and a single unidentified Leaf pattern with a printed French mark. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7 1/2" to 9 1/8" dia. Begonia Leaf and French examples in excellent undamaged condition, larger Pond Lily with minor surface wear, small example with hairline off the rim. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1617 - MAJOLICA PLATES, LOT OF SIX, various botanical patterns, one with impressed rosette on reverse, one with illegible mark, others unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7 1/2" to 8 5/8" dia. Excellent undamaged condition, except for one minute glaze flake. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1618 - MAJOLICA PLATES, LOT OF SEVEN, various botanical patterns, five with various marks, others unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7 3/8" to 8 1/2" dia. Three examples in excellent undamaged condition, of the remaining, one has a single minute glaze flake, one with less than normal glaze loss to rim, remaining two with minor damage. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1619 - MAJOLICA PLATES, LOT OF FIVE, three of one and two of a second Leaf pattern, one smaller example with impressed rosette mark on reverse, others unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7 1/2" and 8 3/8" dia. Two smaller examples in excellent undamaged condition, larger examples with minor to moderate damage. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1620 - MAJOLICA PLATES, LOT OF FIVE, matching unidentified Leaf pattern. Late 19th/early 20th century. 8" dia. Very good overall condition, one undamaged, three each with a single rim chip/flake, remaining example with crazing. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1621 - STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFERWARE BASIN AND PITCHER, ASSEMBLED SET, blue, pitcher marked "LUCERNE" pattern, with similar basin with registration mark. Mid 19th century. Pitcher 11" h overall, 6 1/4" dia overall base, basin 4 1/2" h, 14" dia. Excellent overall condition, pitcher with spider crack under base and a tight 1 1/2" hairline at the lower portion of scenic transfer, neither of which breaks the surface of the interior, and the bowl has only a small rim flake. Estimate: $150 - $250.
Lot 1622 - STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFERWARE PLATTER, blue and white transfer of two soldiers, one on horseback, speaking with several people before an elaborate building, marked "GRANADA" on reverse, impressed "MIDDLEBRO' POTTERY" surrounding anchor. Second quarter 19th century. 12" x 15 1/2". Excellent condition with two glaze nicks and minimal surface scratches. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1623 - STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFERWARE PLATTER, purple with polychrome decoration, unmarked Liberty Cap pattern. Mid 19th century. 1 1/2" h, 13 1/4" x 18". Overall moderate crazing with discoloration, no further damaged. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1624 - STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFERWARE, LOT OF FIVE ARTICLES, consisting of a mulberry "Corean" platter and an untitled gravy boat, together with two "Watteau" and one "California" plate in blue. Mid 19th century. Platter 9 1/2" x 12 1/4". Plates and gravy boat in excellent undamaged condition, platter with surface abrasions and one open glaze bubble. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1625 - STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFERWARE CHILDREN'S MUGS, LOT OF THREE, each with black transfer depicting children in scenes of daily activity, one with polychrome decoration, unmarked. Mid 19th century. 2 3/8" to 2 1/2" h, 2 5/8" dia. Very good overall condition, one with chip under base, polychromed example with manufacturing flaw below exterior rim, remaining example undamaged. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1626 - STAFFORDSHIRE CHILDREN'S MUGS, LOT OF FOUR, one green transfer example depicting children with a pony, titled "THE FAVORITE", two matching pink lustre and black transfer examples with a mother giving her child cherries, and one with an applied hunt scene on light blue background, unmarked. Mid 19th century. 2 3/8" to 2 3/4" h, 2 3/4" to 3" dia. One lustre example with glazed-over manufacturing chip to rim, the other with a flake under the base and hairline at lower terminal of handle, remaining two undamaged. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1627 - ENGLISH MOLDED STONEWARE SILENUS JUGS, GRADUATED SET OF THREE, each with Bacchanalian scenes, grapevine above and entwined vines on handle, dark brown shading to tan, illegible molded mark on base of two larger examples. Second half 19th century. 7" to 8 3/4" h overall. Largest example undamaged, others each with moderate chip. Estimate: $150 - $250.
Lot 1628 - STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURES, LOT OF FOUR, one depicting a hunter with a slain deer at his feet, a Highland gentleman standing by a stone wall, and two equestrian figures, well-colored polychrome decoration. Second half 19th century. 7 1/2" to 10 1/4" h. First two in excellent undamaged condition, Highlander with minor paint loss, one equestrian with firing separation to chest of horse, the other with restoration. Estimate: $150 - $250.
Lot 1629 - STAFFORDSHIRE PASTORAL FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, each depicting a couple with flowers, one beside a stream, well-colored polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 7" h, 2" x 4" base and 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" base. Excellent overall condition, one having only a minute glaze flake, the other with very minor paint loss. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1630 - STAFFORDSHIRE ROMANTIC FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, each depicting a couple in rural setting, one with goat, well-colored polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 6 1/2" h, 3" x 4 1/2" base and 10" h, 3 1/2" x 6" base. Larger example with professional restoration to man's right hand and firing separation to reverse, the other with tight crack to reverse on man's shoulder. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1631 - STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURAL SPILL VASE, depicting two hunters with a large spaniel, standing in front of a tree trunk, well-colored polychrome decoration. Fourth quarter 19th century. 11 3/4" h, 2 5/8" x 6 1/4" base. Very good overall condition with some paint loss, and a chip on the reverse of one arm. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1633 - STAFFORDSHIRE PASTORAL FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, one depicting a couple with baskets of produce and gardening implements, the other is a Highland shepherd with his dog and staff, well-colored polychrome decoration with applied coleslaw. Third quarter 19th century. 8 1/2" h, 2" x 3 1/2" base and 8" h, 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" base. The first example with a flake and chip to the brim of the man's hat, otherwise in excellent condition, as is the other example. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1634 - STAFFORDSHIRE CHILDHOOD FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, each depicting two children with bird (s) and bird cage, one with faux clock, well-colored polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 6 3/4" h, 1 7/8" x 3 1/2" base. Faux-clock example with semi-circular hairline on reverse, the other is in excellent undamaged condition. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1635 - STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURAL SPILL VASES, LOT OF TWO, each depicting a couple, one with rabbit and hutch, the other standing on a bridge above a swimming duck, well-colored polychrome decoration with applied coleslaw. Third quarter 19th century. 7 1/2" h, 1 3/4" x 4 1/4" base and 8" h, 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" base. First in excellent overall condition with two small glaze flakes and minimal paint loss, the other in very good condition with apparent loss of material to top of woman's hat. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Second half 19th century. 9" h, 3" x 4 3/4" base and 8" h, 3" x 3 1/2" base. First example with professional restoration to vase, the other with glazed-over manufacturing chips to reverse of vase. Lot 1637 - STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, consisting of a couple seated under an arbor and a hunter astride his horse with a dead deer, pink lustre and minimal polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 14 1/4" h, 3 1/2" x 8 3/8" base and 15" h, 3 1/4" x 9" base. Arbor group in very good overall condition having only roughness to the face of the man, the other with professional restoration and hairline to obverse. Estimate: $100 - $150.

The man is in very good condition, with only a chip to the reverse of his hat, the woman has had significant professional restoration. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 1648 - STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURAL SPILL VASES, LOT OF TWO, consisting of one with a young lady seated by a tree with her sheep, moderate polychrome decoration, the other with two children standing on a bridge with two ducks swimming below, well-colored polychrome decoration. Third quarter 19th century. 7" h, 2" x 3 1/4" base and 11 1/4" h, 2 1/2" x 6" base. First in excellent undamaged condition, the other in very good overall condition with small area of glaze loss to the hemline of each figure, interior of vase repainted. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 1652 - GEORGE JONES MAJOLICA VASE, Bird's Nest and Bird pattern, with impressed GJ in circle and molded registration mark. Third quarter 19th century. 5 1/4" h, 3" x 3 3/4" base. Rear one-half of bird has been poorly repaired, other minor damaged. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1653 - MAJOLICA FAN-SHAPED DISHES, LOT OF SIX, consisting of one side dish and five butter pats, Dragonfly and Prunus pattern, unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 6" x 6" and 3 7/8" x 4 1/8". Larger example and one small example in excellent undamaged condition, one with minor glaze loss, one with glazed-over manufacturing flaw, remaining examples with minor damage. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1654 - VILLEROY AND BOCH MAJOLICA-TYPE PLATES, SET OF SIX, cream with gilt decoration at rim, central medallion with lady, five in brown, one turquoise, impressed mark and "Made in Germany". Late 19th/early 20th century. 7 3/4" dia. Very good overall condition with minor imperfections. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 1655 - MAJOLICA, LOT OF TWO ARTICLES, consisting of an unidentified blackberry with wicker base pattern jug, and a Wild Rose butter dish, each unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 6 1/2" h, 4 1/4" dia overall and 4 7/8" h overall, 7" dia. Pitcher in excellent overall condition, having only several small areas of glaze loss to rim and base, butter dish with a poorly repaired area to rim of lid, large chip on repaired area to exterior rim and to base. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1656 - MAJOLICA, LOT OF SIX ARTICLES, consisting of a footed bowl, two plates and three dishes, various botanical patterns, all unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7" to 10 1/2" dia overall. Three examples in excellent undamaged condition, two with one flake only, the footed bowl with two rim chips and glaze wear. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1657 - MAJOLICA, LOT OF SEVEN ARTICLES, consisting of three matching plates, two bowls and two matching Leaf butter pats, various botanical patterns, all unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7" to 8 1/4" d and 2 1/2" x 4 1/4". Five articles in excellent undamaged condition, one pat with flake to table ring, one plate with minor damage. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1658 - MAJOLICA, LOT OF FOUR ARTICLES, consisting of a one-cup teapot with matching sugar bowl, unidentified floral pattern, and a creamer and matching sugar bowl, unidentified berry pattern, all unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 3 1/8" to 4 7/8" h overall. Excellent overall condition, rims with less than normal flaking. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1659 - MAJOLICA, LOT OF EIGHT ARTICLES, consisting of seven cream pitchers, including Corn and Pineapple, and a Leaves and Basketweave pattern syrup pitcher. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2 3/4" to 5" h. With the exception of one undamaged example, all have minor to moderate damage. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 1660 - WEDGWOOD SALAD SET, consisting of a bowl with three stag heads forming the feet, their antlers embrace the sides of the bowl, a pine branch with cones and needles surrounds the shoulder below an applied silver plate rim, together with salad spoon and fork with antler-form handles, impressed "WEDGWOOD" only, with a molded Rd. number and transfer mark for Lee & Wigfull, Silversmiths. Fourth quarter 19th century. 5 1/4" h, 10" dia overall. Excellent condition with light discoloration to interior of bowl, high-point wear to utensil handles. Estimate: $100 - $150.
