Lot 1391 - FURNITURE REFERENCE VOLUMES, LOT OF FIVE, including Fleming's "The Painted Furniture of French Canada", Pain's "The Heritage of Upper Canadian Furniture", Taylor and Bokides' "New Mexican Furniture", plus two others, four hard covers with dust jackets, one soft cover. Good to very good condition. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1392 - AMERICAN FURNITURE REFERENCE VOLUMES, LOT OF NINE, including Highland House Publishers, Inc., volumes I -V "American Antiques from Israel Sack Collection, volumes I and II in slip case, Nutting's volumes I-III (I and II in one book) "Furniture Treasury", Montgomery's "American Furniture / The Federal Period", plus one other, eight hard covers, one soft cover. Lot 1393 - SHAKER REFERENCE VOLUMES, LOT OF THREE, Rieman and Burks' "The Complete Book of Shaker Furniture", Swank's "Shaker Life, Art, and Architecture", Kirk's "The Shaker World", hard covers with dust jackets. Very good condition. Estimate: $50 - $75.
Lot 1394 - INTERNATIONAL "PRELUDE" STERLING FLATWARE SERVICE, seventy-nine pieces, consisting of twelve 9" dinner knives, twelve 7 1/4" dinner forks, twelve 6 1/2" salad/dessert forks, twenty-four 6" teaspoons, twelve 6 1/2" round bowl/cream soup spoons, four 8 1/2" serving spoons, meat fork, butter knife, and sugar spoon, fitted in a wooden chest. Second quarter 20th century. Very good condition with normal light wear. Estimate: $600 - $900.
Lot 1395 - UNMARKED AMERICAN COIN SILVER JUG AND PAIR OF MATCHING GOBLETS, each chased with a grapevine motif and bearing an applied cartouche engraved with an L. Total weight: 265 ozt. Found in Richmond, VA. Mid 19th century. 11 1/4" and 7" h. Several minor dents, one goblet with small repairs at top of foot. Estimate: $300 - $500.
Lot 1396 - UNMARKED SILVER HORN-HANDLE TODDY LADLE, bowl chased with a grapevine and birds motif, long twisted horn handle with silver cap. 19th century. 13 1/4" long. Professional repair at handle/bowl juncture, otherwise excellent. Estimate: $75 - $125.
Lot 1397 - AMERICAN PLATED SILVER BEVERAGE DISPENSER, urn-form raised on three reeded legs with lion's masks and clawfeet, presentation engraved on front, hallmarked for the English Silver Mfg., Corp., heater is not original. Mid 20th century. 23" h overall, 14" dia overall. Excellent replated condition, some light scratches and minute dents. Estimate: $150 - $250.

Lot 1398 - AMERICAN PLATED SILVER BEVERAGE DISPENSER, urn-form raised on cabriole legs ending in clawfeet, original heater, hallmarked "Webster-Wilcox" for the International Silver Co., no monogram. Mid 20th century. 19" h overall, 14" w. Excellent condition, small dent to heater bottom. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1399 - AMERICAN PLATED SILVER WAITER, ornate scroll and shell border and handles, chased acanthus leaf center, unidentified hallmarks, no monogram. First half 20th century. 20" x 31 1/2" overall. Excellent condition with two minute dents to center. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1400 - METALWARE REFERENCE VOLUMES, SET OF TWO, "The Directory of Gold & Silversmiths / Jewellers & Allied Traders 1838-1914", John Culme, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England: Antique Collectors' Club Ltd., 1987, first edition, volumes one and two, hard covers with dust jackets. Excellent condition with very light wear to dust jacket. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1401 - SHEFFIELD PLATE MASTER WARMING DISH AND COVER, rectangular form, the dish with tree-well, end wood-grip handles and raised on four feet, the high-domed cover with a lobed cap and open scroll handle, both with matching simple gadroon molding and a crest above "HG" period monogram, no hallmarks located. Mid 19th century. 15 1/2" h overall, dish 16 1/4" x 22 1/4", cover 15" x 20". Excellent replated condition, wear to feet and wooden inserts, some minute dents. Estimate: $400 - $600.

Lot 1402 - ENGLISH SILVER INKSTAND, CHESTER, 1904, boat form with reticulated and gadrooned rim, raised on four feet, fitted with a flute-cut glass inkwell with hinged silver lid. Early 20th century. 2 1/2" h, 4 1/4" x 8". Excellent condition. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1403 - ANTIQUE PERSIAN KESHAN CARPET, pictorial field featuring a lioness and cub, gazelle, a stag, waterfowl, and other birds in a pastoral setting, birds and floral primary border. Fourth quarter 19th century. 4' 6" x 6' 8". Excellent condition with some fading/color irregularities, one tiny puncture observed. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.

Lot 1404 - ANTIQUE NORTH CAUCASUS KUBA CARPET, deep blue field with all-over stylized geometric design, bracketed medallion primary border. Fourth quarter 19th century. 4' x 5' 10". Excellent condition with a few tiny stains and very minor fading. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.

Lot 1405 - ENGLISH HEPPLEWHITE REVIVAL MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS, SET OF SIX, two with arms, each featuring a nicely carved and inlaid shield back, upholstered seat, and molded legs ending in spade feet. Late 19th/early 20th century. 37" h overall, 19" h seat. Excellent condition. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.

Lot 1406 - GEORGIAN MAHOGANY DOUBLE PEDESTAL DINING TABLE, consisting of two D-shape ends each raised on a turned column and three downswept legs, fitted with a 26" wide center board. 18th and 20th centuries. 29" h, each end 48" x 31", 88" long fully assembled. Very good condition, pedestals and center board of a later date. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.

Lot 1407 - EARLY GEORGIAN WALNUT BUREAU CABINET, the upper section featuring two shaped-panel doors with interior mounted mirrors enclosing shelves, drawers and compartments, the lower section features a hinged fall-front enclosing a complex fitted interior, above four drawers and raised on simple bracket feet. The sections probably together by association. First half 18th century. 95" h, 38" w, 21 1/2" d. Fair condition with numerous losses and patches, various restorations. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.

Lot 1408 - ENGLISH "H. WIGNALL, BURNLEY" MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK, 8-day brass works, face painted with a horse, rider and dog, case with turned columns, raised on replaced ogee feet. Second quarter 19th century. 93" h. Excellent visual condition, case with crack in lower panel and minor veneer chipping, appears to be running. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
Lot 1409 - GEORGIAN MAHOGANY WRITING AND READING TABLE, hinged rectangular top rests on pull-out front leg supports revealing three slide-top compartments, full length frieze drawer and dummy drawer, all raised on square legs. Fourth quarter 18th century. 30" h, 35" w, 14 3/4" d, 29" x 35" open. Very good condition with several small repairs and fading to finish. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Lot 1410 - PAIR OF GEORGE III MAHOGANY BEDSIDE CABINETS, each with a cut-out gallery above a singe door, raised on tall square legs with cross stretchers. Late 18th/early 19th century. 30 1/2" h, 14" x 14". Fair condition with repaired breaks to galleries and legs, several cracks to sides. Estimate: $400 - $600.

Lot 1411 - CONTINENTAL GILT-METAL CANDLE CHANDELIER, two-tier circular form with eight spaced candle cups, crystal prisms and swags, now electrified. Late 18th/early 19th century. 33" h, 25" d. Excellent condition. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Lot 1412 - CONTINENTAL GILT-METAL CANDLE LAMP, the adjustable candle cup and tole shade mounted on a square shaft with ring finial, now electrified. First quarter 19th century. 17" h overall, 6 3/4" dia shade. Excellent condition, shade of a later date. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1413 - PAIR OF BRASS AND CRYSTAL CANDELABRA, each featuring three sockets below three tiers of colorless and pale amethyst prisms, all on a circular base, formerly electrified. 20th century. 18" h. Excellent condition. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1414 - GEORGIAN INLAID MAHOGANY BOW-FRONT SIDEBOARD, D-shape banded top above a shallow center drawer and two deep end drawers, raised on tapered legs ending in spade feet. First quarter 19th century. 35 1/2" h, 48 1/2" w, 24" d. Very good condition with normal cracking and separations, some patched and minor losses to veneers. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Lot 1415 - NEO-CLASSICAL GILTWOOD AND GESSO WALL MIRROR, the crest featuring two winged sphinxes above four draped swags, each upper corner mounted with a ram's head. 19th century. 36" h overall, 43" w. Very good condition with expected separations and cracking to gesso, several very minor losses. Estimate: $500 - $800.

Lot 1416 - GEORGIAN ROCOCO CARVED GILTWOOD WALL MIRROR, C-scroll and acanthus ornamentations, later mirror plate. Second half 18th century. 45" h, 24" w. Numerous repaired breaks and several restored areas painted gold. Estimate: $300 - $500.

Lot 1417 - GEORGIAN MAHOGANY BRASS-BOUND TRAY, oval form with cut-out and molded end handles, on a contemporary tapered-leg stand. Late 18th/early 19th century. 18" h overall, 17 1/2" x 26". Crack to center, otherwise excellent. Estimate: $300 - $500.

Lot 1418 - GEORGIAN STYLE MAHOGANY STOOL, molded-edge seat rail and slip seat, raised on molded-corner square legs. Probably 19th century. 19" h, 14 1/2" x 18 1/2". Excellent condition. Estimate: $200 - $300.

Lot 1419 - SCOTTISH CARVED OAK VALUABLES BOX, hinged lid surmounted by two greyhound-like dogs, box decorated with scrolling thistles, stag's head and two lions' masks, the interior is fitted with a divided dovetailed tray, original lock and key. Fourth quarter 19th century. 12" h overall, 28" w, 14" d. Very good condition, some marring to box rim below lid, lacking handle rings, some wear to one dog. Estimate: $300 - $500.

Lot 1420 - GEORGIAN MAHOGANY CARD TABLE, rectangular hinged top raised on tapered round legs ending in pad feet, one leg swivels to support the leaf. Fourth quarter 18th century. 28 1/2" h, 31 1/2" w, 14 1/2" d. Very good condition with some small patches, top currently detached from base, upper leaf possibly not original. Estimate: $400 - $600.

Lot 1421 - FRENCH CUIRASSIER SOLDIER'S ARMOR, consisting of a breastplate and backplate, both decorated with brass rivets and secured with brass-mounted leather shoulder straps, along with a brass helmet featuring a scrolled crest and chain chin strap, supported on a draped wood display stand. Name inscribed on inside of backplate. Second half 19th century. Armor 19" h, 14" w, helmet 10 1/2" h. Armor in excellent condition, lacking waist belt, helmet with solder repairs to crest and overall light denting. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Lot 1422 - GEORGIAN MAHOGANY SIDE TABLE, rectangular molded-edge top above a single full length drawer, raised on tapered round legs ending in pad feet. Second half 18th century. 26 1/2" h, 29" w, 18 1/2" d. Replaced top and other alterations. Estimate: $200 - $300.

Lot 1423 - HEPPLEWHITE STYLE INLAID MAHOGANY TWO-TIER TABLE, round graduated tiers raised on tapered saber legs joined by a cross stretcher and ending in flaring feet. First quarter 20th century. 31" h, 18 1/2" and 26" dia. Very good condition with faded finish. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1424 - GEORGIAN MAHOGANY SIDE CHAIR, pierced C-scroll splat, upholstered seat, raised on cabriole legs with carved knees. Fourth quarter 18th century. 35" h overall, 17" h seat. Repaired breaks to back, upholstery in poor condition. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1425 - GEORGIAN MAHOGANY BOOK STAND, cut-out top gallery above a low shelf, molded corners extend to small cut-out feet. Fourth quarter 18th century. 13 3/4" h, 15" x 20 1/2". Fair condition with breaks and repairs to gallery, chip and light crack to top, crack in one end. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1426 - PAIR OF ENGLISH BOTANICAL NEEDLEWORK PICTURES, silk thread embroidery on silk ground. Matching period gilt-wood frames. First half 19th century. 15 1/2" x 12 1/2" sight, 18" x 15" overall. Both with water stain to lower image, one with slight deterioration to ground. Estimate: $200 - $300.

Lot 1427 - PAIR OF ENGLISH BOTANICAL NEEDLEWORK PICTURES, wool thread embroidery on gauze-like ground. Later matching cherry frames. Mid 19th century. 6" x 5 1/4" sight, 10" x 7" overall. Very good condition with light spotting and minor deterioration. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 1429 - ENGLISH HAND-COLORED ENGRAVING, "Westwood in Worcestershire, the Seat of the Hon'ble Sr. John Parkington Barronet", Kip and Knuff. Contemporary gilt frame and mat. Second half 18th century. 15" x 20" sight, 26 1/2" x 31 1/2" overall. Excellent condition with light center fold and minor brushing to margins, spot of wear to frame. Estimate: $100 - $150.
Lot 1430 - EDWARDIAN OAK AND PLATED SILVER TANTALUS, two bottles cut in a Russian-type pattern with original stoppers, lock with key but not operable. First quarter 20th century. 12 1/4" h overall, 4 1/2" x 9 1/2". Very good condition with some wear to plating. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Lot 1432 - NAPOLEON III CARVED GILTWOOD SOFA, wreath and plume crest, baluster-twist front legs, rose Damask upholstery. Second half 19th century. 46 1/2" h overall, 78" w. Very good condition with normal wear to gilding and small repairs. Estimate: $500 - $800.
Lot 1433 - NAPOLEON III CARVED GILTWOOD PAIR OF OPEN-ARM CHAIRS, wreath and plume crest, baluster-twist front legs, rose velvet upholstery. Second half 19th century. 43 1/2" h overall. Very good regilded condition, minor separation at one arm, upholstery with two small spots. Estimate: $300 - $500.
Lot 1434 - PAIR OF ENGLISH HAND-COLORED ENGRAVINGS, "Morning" and "Noon", published by I. W. Laird, London, 1841. Matching contemporary frames. Second quarter 19th century. 11 1/2" x 8" plate, 19 1/4" x 15 1/2" overall. Excellent condition. Estimate: $75 - $125.
