Lot 2332 - LEE/ROSE NO. 600-B , colorless, nine pairs of large scallops with four smaller ones between. Unique. Philadelphia area, probably Union Glass Works. 3 3/8" d. Poor condition with multiple chips erasing numerous scallops. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.

Note: A very important plate despite its condition issues. It was on both Marble's and Elsholz's want lists but neither acquired a specimen. This is the very example illustrated in AGCP where Rose stated that there were but two specimens known. Bilane later corrected that statement when he noted that Paul Carson's plate (which went to Marble) turned out to be a L/R No. 600-C, leaving Cannon's (this) plate as the only known example.
Lot 2333 - LEE/ROSE NO. 600-C , colorless, 18 large scallops with a smaller scallop and two points between. Extremely rare, Bilane recorded only two examples including this plate. Philadelphia area, probably Union Glass Works. 3 7/16" d. V-shape chip from rim with an associated 1/2" crack, otherwise only minor mold roughness. Estimate: $100 - $150.

Excellent condition for this series, loss of one small scallop, partial loss of two large scallops and another tipped, other flaking and mold roughness. Estimate: $200 - $300.

Lot 2336 - LEE/ROSE NO. 605-V-1 , colorless, deep variation with rivet head in center of cavetto, 24 bull's-eye scallops with single point between. Extremely rare. Midwestern, probably Pittsburgh. 3 7/16" d. Near proof for this rim, one tipped point and two scallops, another scallop very lightly tipped, small light top-rim spall and some light flaking/mold roughness. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Unknown rarity, probably unique. Midwestern, probably Pittsburgh. 3 1/2" d. Loss of one side scallop, partial loss of one corner and several side scallops. Estimate: $200 - $300.
Lot 2343 - LEE/ROSE NO. 614 , colorless, embossed "Union Glass Works, Pittsburgh, PA, 1836", octagonal with six even scallops on each side between corners. Extremely rare. Probably Parke, Campbell and Hanna, Pittsburgh. 3 1/2" d. Pristine proof except for three minute top-rim flakes and a minute flake to table ring, partial slight fin. Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500.

Lot 2390 - LEE/ROSE NO. 680-C , colorless, very thick example, 45 bull's-eye scallops. Very rare. Probably Midwestern. 3 1/4" d. Rim spall removing the top of one scallop but leaving the bull's eye intact, several other light rim spalls, four scallops very lightly tipped, along with some light mold roughness. Estimate: $75 - $125.

Lot 2391 - LEE/ROSE NO. 685 , colorless with a hint of cloudiness, embossed "New Patent Steam Coach", plain rim with alternating small and large rib outer edge. Extremely rare, Elsholz's notes reveal only six known. Possibly Midwestern. 3 5/8" d. Excellent condition, shallow top-rim chip and light flaking/mold roughness, heavy partial rim fin with small chips. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.
