KIRK STIEFF "WILLIAMSBURG QUEEN ANNE" STERLING FLATWARE SERVICE (Lot #143 - $3,575), 82 pieces, consisting of 25 teaspoons (5 3/4"), ten each ice tea spoons (7"), salad forks (6 1/2"), eight each dinner forks (7 3/4"), dinner knives with old French hollow pistol handles (9 1/4"), six butter knives with old French hollow pistol handles (6 3/4"), four dessert/soup spoons (6 3/4"), three each salad forks (6 1/4"), cocktail forks (5 1/4"), two small serving spoons (7 3/4"), cold meat serving fork (8 1/4"), cream ladle (6 1/2"), and a gravy ladle (7 1/4"), not monogrammed. In a felt lined box. Second half 20th century. Excellent overall condition with some minor usage wear.

MARBLE CLASSICAL ARCHITECTURE STATUE (Lot #193 - $2,860), depicting the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, Rome, executed in three different colors. Late 19th/early 20th century. 13 1/2" h, 6" x 13 1/2" overall. Break and loss to one rear column, break at one rear base corner, several minor chips.

WILLIAM PENHALLOW HENDERSON (AMERICAN, 1877-1943) ATTRIBUTED "THE GINKGO TREE" LANDSCAPE PAINTING (Lot #219 - $3,575), oil on canvas mounted on board, depicting figures on a lake shore with a ginkgo tree in foreground and a pier in background, unsigned, inscribed on verso with title and "Wm P Henderson", period frame. Early 20th century. 15" x 11" sight, 23 1/2" x 19 1/2" overall. Excellent condition.

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA WALNUT DIMINUTIVE PIE SAFE (Lot #310 - $6,050), yellow pine top with applied walnut edge moldings and cut-out gallery, above two doors and two lower drawers, doors and ends fitted with 12 tins hand punched in a pattern featuring a central six-heart rosette with corner quarter fans, all raised on four finely turned legs. Yellow pine secondary wood, original lower knobs. Mid 19th century. 55" h overall, 53" h top, 39 1/2" w, 18" d. Excellent condition with an older refinished surface, minor losses to two lower end tins.

GRUEBY TWO-COLOR VASE-FORM LAMP BASE (Lot #1183 - $5,500), matte green glaze, yellow buds on a corseted neck, above tooled full-height leaves, impressed "GRUEBY POTTERY / BOSTON, USA" circular mark, retains partial circular label. Early 20th century. 11 1/2" h, 5 1/2" d rim, 5 3/8" d base. Undamaged except for several minute nicks/spots of wear to leaf edges.

Provenance: Recently discovered in a local home.

NEWCOMB COLLEGE POTTERY BOWL (Lot #1186 - $8,250), decorated with an incised band of animal-cracker-type animals, dark blue at rim and foot, cream interior, base with stamped "N within C" cipher, "incised "MWS" for Mary Williamson Summey decorator, impressed "JM" cipher for Joseph Fortune Meyer potter, painted "DQ-44" for 1910, and impressed "B" for clay body. First quarter 20th century. 2" h, 5 1/2" d. Excellent undamaged condition.
Provenance: Property of a Harrisonburg, VA estate.
